The constitutional separation of powers depends upon both the People and Congress receiving timely documentation as to the financial relationships and other potential sources of conflicting of interests that members of the Executive may have. A President with financial ties to a foreign power, for instance, may abuse (consume) the physical power of the Executive for the sake of petty achievements that will mask the personal and official insecurities which they are importing into the public domain.
